Yes, very much so. We are aiming to have a UV Unwrap tool in the next couple months if all goes well. We are finishing up our new PBR/IBL renderer first and a new material library/collections UI, and then we will be moving on to UV Unwrap and few other tools in that area.
A few unannounced features we've added recently in that UV/Texturing area: UV Transform, UV Copy/Move, and UV Delete are new operators. We've also added the ability to live edit Image properties, such as uvOffset, uvTile, and the brightness, gain and gain offset - if you edit these you see the results immediately in the editor.
UV Unwrap is a big feature, but it is near the very top of our priorities because it is important.
