I'm trying to optimize my scene for rendering (this is taking for ever right now)
but it only has 2 pointlights and a V-ray sun,
The models in the project are a export of another program, so can't really change anything there,
It exports based on material, so if you have a chair with some chrome, those 2 are different models
but I was wondering,
Which are the best to use when doing a Vray render:
- V-ray materials
- Normal Materials
- Doens't matter
Does it also matter that for example, all my windows are 1 big object, does it help to split them in different groups?
So when rendering one side, the renderer knows to ignore to other ones?
and are there some settings to increase render speed?
